No School Skills sessions are designed for players looking to improve their hockey skills in a fun, energetic, and development-focused environment. These sessions provide a great opportunity to stay active, continue developing, and make the most of scheduled days off from school.

Skills Sessions

Each 2-hour session includes focused on-ice training, a break with provided food and drinks, and a fast-paced, competitive 3v3 game where players can put their skills into action.

Skaters: 8-12 skaters and 2 goalies.

Levels: To ensure the best training environment, players should register for the session that matches their current association level.

Equipment: Full hockey gear is required. nine HOCKEY follows USA Hockey equipment requirements and safety recommendations. All participants are responsible for providing and wearing the required protective equipment during on-ice activities.

Session Format

50 minutes on-ice training

Training will focus on skating, puck control, passing, shooting, hockey IQ, and game situations through age-appropriate instruction and high-repetition drills.

Break

To keep energy levels high, players will take a short break where nine HOCKEY will provide Gatorade, pizza, and cookies, giving them a chance to refuel, rehydrate, and recharge.

3v3 game

Players will be split into two evenly matched teams for an exciting, fast-paced 3v3 game, providing the opportunity to put newly developed skills into action and build confidence in a fun and competitive game.

Policies:

  • No refunds will be issued.

  • If a player is unable to attend a session, the payment may be applied as a credit toward a future training session.

  • Sessions cannot be transferred between players.

    $40 per skater
