Mini Mite Training

This introductory hockey program for boys and girls ages 3-5 helps beginner players build confidence on the ice, learn basic hockey skills, and develop a love for the game.

Session Format

During the first 30-40 minutes, skaters will rotate through stations and work on age-appropriate skills including:

  • Skating and balance
  • Stopping
  • Backward skating
  • Puck control
  • Stickhandling
  • Shooting
  • Edge work
  • Partner drills
  • Basic hockey movements and skills
The final 10-20 minutes feature fun 4v4 small-area games, giving players a chance to chase the puck, make plays, and learn the game through play.

Equiptment
nine HOCKEY follows USA Hockey equipment requirements and safety recommendations. All participants are responsible for providing and wearing the required protective equipment during on-ice activities.
